The Linnen Lab was established at the University of Kentucky in 2011. In 2016, we joined up with the Weisrock Lab to form the UK Superlab of Evolutionary Genomics research. We are united by our love of evolutionary biology and oddball organisms. We inhabit a beautiful lab space on the second floor of the Thomas Hunt Morgan Building, where we share ideas, coffee, and birthday treats. To learn more about who we are and what questions and organisms we work on, see the "People", "Research", "Critters", and "Publications" tabs above. If you are interested in joining the lab (as an undergraduate researcher, graduate student, or postdoc), see the "Join the Lab!" tab. If you have found sawflies and have questions and/or want to send us samples, see the "Send Samples!" tab. And to learn more about the department we work in and the research group we share a space with, check out the "Department of Biology" and "Weisrock Lab" links below.
